Bishop is pleased to introduce the newest member of the Diocesan Council, the Deanery Representative for the Easter Deanery. The Deans from Eastern Deanery shared a fun fact about Ellie. "She can’t decide if she likes the sermon at church more or sharing a sign of peace with old and new friends."

Ellie has a BA in English from BYU-Idaho. She’s a newer member of the Episcopal faith and a new vestry member. Her favorite places to volunteer are the soup kitchen and local food pantry, and digitally via a local Buy Nothing page. She was born and raised in Eastern Idaho. True to her roots, she and her husband named their beagle Russet Potato. She’s been in the insurance industry for 7 years. Horror movies, pickles, bird-watching, and impeccable fashion are Ellie’s favorite entertainment outside work and church. Her favorite quote is by Charlie Chaplin, “Nothing is permanent in this wicked world, not even our troubles.”
